PAK Symposium & Carnival this Saturday!!!

Hello! We couldn't be more thrilled to celebrate this coming Saturday, April 30th with all of you. 10 years of supporting each other through diagnosis, testing, food challenges, schools, trying restaurants for the first time, adding new foods,the list goes on and on! Saturday is going to be amazing!

Here are the details and questions answered...

Where? St. Matthew Catholic Church in Ballantyne (8015 Ballantyne Commons Parkway, Charlotte 28277)  at the Parish Center Family Room and Gymnasium.

When? This Saturday, April 30 from 1  - 5 pm

What? PAK Education Symposium is a half day conference style event where you can bring your children of ALL ages (birth through high schoolers)! Using the schedule below, come to all, or as many discussions that can fit in your day! While the adults are attending the lectures and discussions, the young children will be participating in carnival style games, arts and crafts, the older children in an age appropriate conference experience as well...

How? If you have little ones, they are welcome! If you have toddlers, bring them, Kidz Play Here will be checking in children around 18 months+ (walking age) You will sign in, get a bracelet with a matching numbered ticket. Please remember to bring a cell phone and Photo ID in case you lose your ticket (which is necessary for pick up). They will phone if there is a diaper change as there will not be enough staff to take care of. Please feed your children BEFORE dropping off. Due to the various multiple food allergies, no food will be allowed in the gymnasium. Water only. There will be a break at 3 pm where the parents can get the children and take to a safe area to snack and wash up.

Cost? This is a FREE event for the community. We will be collecting donations of  crayons, colored pencils, child scissors, glue sticks for the church's children's ministry. In addition, the PAK TWEEN/TEEN COUNCIL will be collecting for 2 charities they are working with…

A Child’s Place: They need donations of Sunbutter/Wowbutter/any non nut type spread, they are asking for 100 jars and I know that we can do it! They also need nut free/top 8 free granola bars.

Ronald McDonald House Charlotte: We will have collection containers...All you have to do is bring your pennies and they will be donated to Ronald McDonald House.
