March 24th at 2:30. We will meet at St. Matthew Catholic Church. 8015 Ballantyne Commons Parkway Charlotte 28277. Attn: Kids (10+) and Parents! We are so excited to announce this FUN event! Kids ages 10+ will get some time to interact with their food allergic peers through guided discussions moderated by a therapist AND learn mindfulness techniques with a yoga instructor. For all parents, we are offering guided discussions moderated by a therapist about positively handling food allergies, as well as time to chit chat and connect with other parents. Parents of children who are participating in the event must stay for the parent group, but it is also open to all parents, not just the ones who have children participating. Camp ROAR is coming back! Join us for camp June 17-21. More information to follow in the New Year! For those unfamiliar with Camp ROAR, it is a half-day camp where kids have the opportunity to participate in typical fun camp activities such as arts and crafts and sports with their food allergic peers. In addition, children will participate in a variety of team building and small group activities/discussions designed to encourage positive interactions and lasting friendships.
Thank you for your continued support, it is appreciated!
