PAK and FARE Membership Benefits!

Dear PAK Families,

YOU can be a part of an even bigger movement by becoming a member of FARE. When you become a member of FARE, along with your involvement as a FARE-recognized Support Group member, you’re able to increase your connection to valuable educational resources and services provided by FARE. You gain instant access to a variety of benefits and resources as soon as you join!

FARE supports PAK in many ways:

  • In 2015, FARE conducted a training session for PAK. The meeting focused on parents and school administrators collaborating together to create a plan for safety and inclusion for food allergic students using CDC guidelines.
  • PAK was able to ensure that Camp R.O.A.R. was available and affordable to as many children as possible because we were awarded a FARE Community Outreach Award, which supplemented the cost per child to attend our camp.
  • A second grant was also awarded through participation in the 2015 FARE Walk for Food Allergy. As a result, PAK is offering children the ability to participate in guided workshops and activities for all age groups, including IMPAKT, our teen group.

The support of FARE members ensures that activities like the above are continued as ways to extend efforts of groups like PAK in the food allergy community.

Most importantly, being a member of FARE means being part of a growing community of individuals who have pledged to make a difference for the 15 million Americans impacted by food allergies. It means connecting with other individuals and families just like you – from those dealing with a new food allergy diagnosis to those who have been managing food allergies for decades.
